introduction to systems leadership
gain an understanding of systems leadership concepts, and how you can put it into practice.
when we want to improve the outcomes in the systems we care about, one of the most important contributions we can make is to become a systems leader.
in this workshop we will explore a conceptual framework and theory of change for systems leadership, introducing how systems leaderships occurs at multiple levels, and in diverse ways. a key element of this is appreciating engaging multiple ways of knowing, being and doing.
we will then consider what this means in practice, and look at what we do, when we do systems leadership. this is guided by our systems practice framework.
finally we will explore how we can better navigate the complexity and messy systems we are embedded in. for this we turn to mindfulness practice as the foundation of our systems leadership work. mindfulness helps us to engage with greater calm, clarity and consideration.

what folks have said about the systems leadership program
"dana and seanna work seamlessly together to provide a grounded, safe and authentic learning environment and over time a community of people who looked forward to learning about themselves at a deeper level - anchoring themselves in a mindful presence, opening up to learning, sharing ideas, concepts, framework about systems thinking and the personal and professional struggles and successes in maximising impact for the betterment of society across various complex systems."
"dana's teaching is extraordinary. i am well practised in meditation, and yet have new ways of approaching it with some of the instruction - making a cup of tea as meta is something that will stay with me, as will the connecting to all beings. bringing her deep experience in systems has also been wonderful."
"seanna has been a facilitation queen, i’ve learned so much from her transparent practice. the way seanna holds space for different perspectives and the feelings in the room are amazing. seanna's backpack of tools and examples and deep thinking about systems helped me feel equipped to try things myself."
