facilitating systems thinking
gain insight on what systems thinking is, and where and how you can help to facilitate it for others
in this half day workshop we will ‘take a dip’ into understanding how we can facilitate systems thinking for others. while gaining competency in this work is a long term endeavor, we will offer you a robust starting point from which you can begin to practice.
the three hour session will begin with a light touch overview on the principles of systems thinking and complex systems to set the foundation for facilitation work. next we’ll take a closer look at what we are trying to facilitate, and what types of contexts this facilitation can take place in. we’ll then touch on some important elements of holding the role of facilitator in this work. finally, we’ll be joined by special guest fiona mckenzie of orange compass for a 30 mins q & a.
